History
Hidden Lake is the vision of the Beck Development Company, whose goal was to create a community that would stand the test of time. Everyone involved in the development of Hidden Lake has been held to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Architectural controls are in place to ensure quality, continuity and homes that compliment the natural surroundings. As Hidden Lake develops, its design allows for the community to evolve and adapt to the needs and desires of its resident.
Built on the site of a decommissioned sand and gravel quarry, Hidden Lake’s history has been preserved in the community's Marketing Center. The design is based on the original 90-foot floating dredge used in the building of Hidden Lake. The dredge, since dismantled, was a distinctive fixture of the quarry. An informative and well-researched wall exhibit featuring historic photographs is permanently on display there. In addition, as mining operations wound down and the community took shape, materials quarried on site were used in shaping and landscaping this exquisitely designed community.
