The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History and Planetarium supports the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, on the front lines of learning and research, in an effort to steward our planet and our community.
Visit the museum on Friday night, March 31st for a fun night oriented towards families and children. There will be a free story time in the Planetarium at 6:00 and again at 7:00 entitled “Mammoths on the Move” by Lisa Wheeler.
There is a free hands-on demonstration at 6:30 PM entitled “Make a Good Impression.”
And free dinosaur tours will be conducted at 6:00 PM and 7 PM.
Planetarium shows are just $3.00 and will be conducted at 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Plan a fun night out with the family, but register beforehand for the events, as they may fill up. It’s all happening at the Ruthvens Museum Building, 1109 Geddes Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Admission to the museum is free, but for such a worthwhile cause, the suggested donation is $6.00 per person.
