Ann Arbor is an ideal destination for the Hidden Lake community, as it is just 20 minutes south on US-23. Best known for the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor also boasts a plethora of art and music events, unique shops and best of all, a robust restaurant scene. Welcoming diverse groups from around the world, Ann Arbor is laid-back and friendly to all, with a variety of tastes to please even the most discriminating palate.
In an effort to help support the work of the Food Gatherers, an organization whose mission is to reduce hunger in the community, many restaurants in the area are participating in Restaurant Week. During the week of January 15 through January 20th, participating restaurants will be offering special meals and pricing, and in some cases, a portion of their profits will go to Food Gatherers. Lunches are priced around $15 and dinners around $28, with many locations offering two for one specials.
Over fifty restaurants are involved in Restaurant Week, with menus as diverse as chicken tacos and paella at the Ann Arbor Brewing Company, to the iconic Weber’s Restaurant with its classics like London Broil and Lake Superior Whitefish.
With the whirl of the holidays over, a fun afternoon or evening can readily be had in Ann Arbor during Restaurant Week, happening January 15th through the 20th.
