After our 2nd visit at the Marketing Center we were invited to enjoy a walk on the trails.

The sound of water rushing over the rocks at the waterfalls; laughter and boat motors in the distance added interest to our walk of 5+ miles of trails and walkways.  Along the way we enjoyed flowers in full bloom, wetlands and bridges with water features.  The trails and pathways are made up of brick pavers, asphalt and wood, a nice variety as we meandered throughout the Hidden Lake community. On our walk we met some friendly people along the way. One of them was on the social committee and they shared with us the events held within the community and the many things to do in the surrounding area. Brighton and Howell have the Farmers Markets on the weekends.  Brighton will be having Fine Art & Acoustic Music Festival, Smokin Jazz & BBQ Blues Festival. 10 minutes away in Howell Concert at the Courthouse are held on the weekends with different bands and the Balloon Fest and Melon Festival….Yum.  Sounds like a lot of fun.
